Scent Work Practice

AKC Scent Work Practice Searches - Saturday, Feb. 29th, 2020, Noon - 3:00pm, George Ingalls Equestrian Center, Norco,  Moreno Arena.

$5 per search or 5 for $20

• • Various levels

  • 5 searches:

    • 2 container searches

    • 2 exterior searches

    • 1 buried search (non-regulation containers; sand only; plastic shoebox-style container with holes drilled in lids; no screens

• Known number of hides or range of hides

• Each search will be timed

• Unlimited False Alerts allowed until maximum search time is reached

• All searches will be run consecutively (i.e. 1 through "x")

• Coaching provided if desired

Elaine Booker, owner of Foothill Fido Dog Training, is a Certified Nose Work Instructor (CNWI) with NACSW since 2012 and an AKC Scent Work Judge since 2017. She teaches classes in K9 Nose Work/Scent Work with a broad base of students ranging from Intro to Novice Odor, to Elite and Detective title levels. She also teaches Trick Dogs (AKC and DMWYD), S.T.A.R. Puppy, Canine Good

Citizen prep, Rally-O, and Therapy Dog classes in Monrovia and the greater San Gabriel Valley.
